Do you have a question about the processing, characterization, or development of plastics and biomaterials? Are you interested in researching the development of new materials for 3D printing applications? Would you like to create a prototype for a new product? Or would you like to test a production process on a small scale in order to fine-tune it and identify potential problems before rolling it out on larger scale? All of this is possible in the CHILL materials processing lab. Our lab is equipped with state-of-the-art 3D printing, extrusion, compounding, and injection molding equipment.
The following technologies and facilities are available in the materials processing lab:
Our production lab also includes single- and dual-screw compounding extruders, two Boy injection molding machines, and an Arburg Freeformer. Download our specs-leaflet for a complete list of our equipment and their specifications.
If you’d like to test your finished materials in our processing lab for strength or other properties, we carry out in-house destructive tests and tests to determine surface and coating properties.
Do you need specific facilities for your R&D project? Please let us know! We can always find a suitable solution in our network .
